EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) a is a mind and body healing technique that combines acupressure and modern psychology together.  Some describe it as a needle free version of acupuncture.
EFT  was founded by Gary Craig in the early 90s with the discovery statement:
“The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”
Every negative emotion we experience, including depression, anger, frustration, stress, grief, guilt, anxiety, fear, etc., is a result of a blockage somewhere in the body‚Äôs energy system.¬† This energy is carried by the body’s meridian system through tiny pathways, in the same way that arteries and vessels carry the body‚Äôs blood.
EFT¬†involves tapping the¬†acupuncture points that stimulates the proper flow of energy thorough the body’s meridian and eliminates energy blockage.¬† While you are tapping, you tune into and focus on an issue.
This simple process eliminates energy blockages in your body which then results in releasing negative emotions and the accompanying physical symptoms.
By performing this systematic stimulating or tapping of the meridian points, (about 14 in all) while addressing a specific problem the emotional issue gradually disappears. This simple process balances and re-energizes the system, often in a matter of minutes.
EFT¬†has been successfully used for stress, headaches, asthma, phobias, allergies, anxiety, frustration, grief, ADHD, hate, resentment, anger, migraines, and just about any negative emotion or belief you can imagine. It’s a fact that our emotional health or lack thereof, plays an important role in our physical well being.¬†EFT can eliminate all the negative emotions that hinder one from achieving their full potential in life. It can help bring peace and joy back to one’s life.
Since the birth of EFT, the technique evolved rapidly.  There are a lot of different modified version of EFT out there that are under the umbrella of Meridian Tapping Techniques (MTT).  Pro-EFT was one of them.  Pro-EFT was founded by Lindsay Kenny goes beyond the scope of the basic EFT, utilizing enhanced tapping methods that may help increase the effectiveness and efficiency of traditional EFT.
